I'm excited to share that we've closed a $500,000 seed round to design, engineer, and bring to market a next-generation breathing device built specifically for the millions of people who mouth breathe during sleep.
The round was backed by a group of private investors and family offices who share our belief that this is a problem worth solving and that the current solutions on the market don't cut it.
Why This Matters
Mouth breathing during sleep is linked to poor sleep quality, snoring, dry mouth, dental problems, and worsened symptoms of sleep-disordered breathing. It's incredibly common, yet most products on the shelf are either flimsy adhesive strips or bulky appliances that people stop using after a week.
We set out to build something different: a medical-grade consumer device engineered for comfort, durability, and real results.
Early Results
Our initial prototypes have been promising. Early users saw their average sleep quality scores jump from 69 to 89 on a standardized 100-point scale — a 29% improvement that moves users from below-average to well-above-average sleep.
That data is what convinced us and our investors that this is more than a concept. It works.
What's Next
The device's core technology is patent pending. With this funding, we're now focused on finding the right manufacturing partners to take us from prototype to production at the quality level this product demands.
